NEW RESIDENCE

Replacing the original home on its Mermaid Waters block, this full knock-down rebuild was designed around an expansive floor plan built for a large family. Floor-to-ceiling glazing opens the main living areas to a surprising view through to Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise.

Generous zoning across a media room, multiple studies, and a butler’s pantry gives the home genuine separation between everyday living and entertaining, with a new pool completing the outdoor spaces. Built by ECP Constructions, the result is a well-resolved family home with scale, light, and space to grow into.

COMPLETE HOME TRANSFORMATION

Located in Mermaid Beach, this considered knock-down and re-design demonstrates how working within existing constraints can deliver a refined and valuable outcome. Retaining the original slab, the project was developed in close collaboration with consultants to ensure compliance while maximising the potential of the site.

The result is a well-resolved home that balances proportion, quality, and market appeal. Designed to resonate with buyers who value elevated design and detail, the home presents as confident, composed, and enduring.

This project-award-winning renovation in Mermaid Waters demonstrates how thoughtful design can deliver exceptional outcomes within its price bracket. Working within a constrained budget, the project retained the original Gold Coast–style layout and existing load-bearing walls, requiring a careful balance between preservation and progression.

A modern twist was introduced through considered planning and spatial refinement, transforming the home to suit the clients’ contemporary lifestyle needs. Constructed by Clark Construction Group and recognised by the HIA, the result is a refined, functional home that proves strong design thinking can thrive within constraint.
