Set within Bonogin Valley on the Gold Coast, this project represents a complete transformation achieved largely within the existing roofline and footprint. Through close collaboration with the owner, the design focused on reworking a previously constrained and outdated layout into a more open and adaptable living environment.

Retaining the fundamental structure for cost efficiency, the design reconnects spaces through a fresh and considered planning approach, unlocking a more cohesive and functional layout. The home was reimagined as a spacious, flowing environment designed to comfortably accommodate a growing or larger household. Thoughtful zoning separates shared living areas from more private retreats, allowing for flexible living arrangements between parents, children, or older occupants, while maintaining a strong sense of connection throughout. Generous open-plan spaces and a considered sense of scale ensure the home feels both expansive and grounded, supporting everyday life with ease. The result is a cohesive residence that balances openness, functionality, and long-term comfort.
